Lavender in the Village Festival

7th Annual Lavender in the Village Festival 
Saturday, June 26th and Sunday, June 27th, 8am to 4pm.

Admission - Adults $3, Kids $2, Under 10 Free 
Please note the change in date for our Lavender Festival. Typically held the weekend after the 4th of July, we have decided with the Village of Los Ranchos to hold the festival earlier this year. The Lavender has been blooming earlier every year, and we feel that June will be the ideal time to harvest. 

This year we are keeping our focus on sustainable food, agriculture and educational activities. We are proud to be a part of this important community event. Please join us to learn about lavender and sustainable agriculture, make your own lavender crafts, meet regional farmers and artisans and have fun!

• U-Pick Los Poblanos Lavender
• Complimentary Therapeutic Massage in the park by New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics
• Eco-education Workshops, Aromatherapy, Sustainable Agriculture, UNM Sustainability Studies Program, Healthy Living with Pharmaca, and more!
• Lavender Sachets with The Sweater Girls, Lavender Wands with Eddie Romero, Distillation Demonstrations with Armin Rembe
• Interactive Exhibits: Story of Bees with Beth Crowder of Sparrowhawk Farm, New Mexican Birds with Wildlife Rescue, Soilutions, Affordable Solar, Goat Milking with Christine Chavez, and more!
• Children's Activities including Field Fun with Big Fun Enterprises, lavender face painting, petting zoo
• Plein Air Painting with Michelle Chrisman and last years' poster winner Dee Sanchez. Quick pose portraits, painting for sale and "Paint-alongs" will be offered.

• Lavender Shop featuring our unique line of spa products made with our organic essential lavender oil

• Los Poblanos Café with food by Chef Jonathan Perno
• Beer Garden
• Organic Produce Market Stand with Los Poblanos Organics, Heidi's Raspberry Jam and Old Windmill Dairy

• Music Stage featuring regional New Mexican favorites including Kim & The Caballeros, Max Gomez, the Lowlights, Joe Silva & Jamie Steele, and classical music by David Feldburg and Megan Holland
