Campo wine dinner with Chateau Musar
Join us for an intimate wine dinner in the Campo Cellar Room celebrating Château Musar, a staple on our wine list from the early days of serving La Merienda in the hacienda to the first Chef’s Table menus at Campo and today’s award-winning wine list.
Nestled in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, Musar’s unique red blends, indigenous white varieties and the family behind these remarkable wines are truly inspiring. Musar shares many fundamental values with Los Poblanos—organic farming, fostering biodiversity and preserving agricultural heritage.
Head Chef Chris Bethoney and Director of Wine Dylan Storment have developed a singular menu inspired by their own family ties to Lebanese traditions and flavors, bringing together ingredients from the valleys of Lebanon to the Rio Grande.
With the help of our friends Zach Olson and Jo Barrett from Favorite Brands, we have created unique opportunities to taste verticals of Musar whites dating back to the early 1970s and reds dating back to the late 1990s, alongside more recent vintages of each poured from magnum.
We are thrilled to welcome Marc Hochar to Los Poblanos and plan to continue our tradition of talking about and pouring these wines for anyone who will listen.
