Spring on the farm

As daffodils bloom, acequias flow and spring awakens life on the farm, the air holds a tangible sense of inspiration. Farmers prepare the fields, planting tender greens and early vegetables, while the kitchen eagerly awaits the season’s first harvest. Lavender cuttings nurtured through winter begin their journey outdoors, joining the fields in anticipation of warmer days. Flowering trees burst into color, and goslings take their first wobbly steps near the lotus pond. With fresh seasonal menus, thoughtfully curated experiences and the farm in full bloom, there’s no better time to visit and embrace the beauty of spring.
Garden Season
As our historic grounds begin to bloom, find inspiration on a property tour followed by a visit to the Farm Shop for a freshly picked bouquet, seeds, tools and lavender salve to sooth a gardener's hands. For a deeper understanding of the Rio Grande Valley ecosystem, attend a lecture on the importance of protecting New Mexico's rivers.
