Tea at La Quinta
Hosted at John Gaw Meem's 1935 masterpiece, Afternoon Tea at La Quinta is an immersive cultural experience. Revel in the magnificence of Meem's architectural gem, La Quinta, alongside stunning work by artists from the WPA era. Enjoy a beautiful selection of teas from Taos' small-batch, handcrafted tea company, tea.o.graphy, and our culinary team's seasonally-driven take on a traditional afternoon tea menu, with a selection of sweet and savory bites.
Following tea, guests are invited to join one of our 20-minute docent-led tours beginning at 3 and 4:15 PM, that will highlight some of the remarkable features of the historic La Quinta building and the artists who contributed to it.
Afternoon Tea guests have access to the La Quinta Gallery and the Library Bar following tea service. The Library Bar features a curated list of locally distilled spirits and favorites from around the world along with a seasonal cocktail menu. The Library Bar is open Sunday – Wednesday 5 – 10 PM exclusively to lodging guests and visitors with Afternoon Tea reservations.
$52 per person plus tax.

Afternoon Tea is only offered on select Sundays. To make a reservation, enter your desired date and party size into the calendar. If no time slots are available, we either do not offer Afternoon Tea service on that date, or the event is sold out. Please email laquinta@lospoblanos.com or call (505) 338-1626 with any questions or concerns about Afternoon Tea reservations, or to be added to a waitlist.

We kindly ask that you notify us of all dietary restrictions for all guests included in your party, as we are only able to accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free and nut-free diets with 48 hours advance notice. A section for these notes is available as you are completing your reservation. Please note, seating requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
All parties will be limited to maximum of two checks. An automatic service charge of 25% will be applied to dining groups of five guests or more.
