Volunteer Docents
We are looking for volunteer docents with an interest in the history, art, architecture and agriculture of Los Poblanos and New Mexico to help lead walking tours of the historic Los Poblanos Ranch. Tours taking place throughout the week and range from 30-60 minutes in length. Docents will be trained to give guests an in-depth oral account of our fascinating history, including our gardens, buildings and our current day agritourism model.

Essential Job functions
- Attend training session on September 15 from 9:30am – 12:00pm
- Shadow two tours with a trained docent
- Be available 1-3 times per month to lead 30-60 minute tours
- Be able to walk a 1 – 1.5 mile path around the property
LP Walking Tour docents will also receive free admission to our Lecture Series at La Quinta, as well as other incentives, such as complimentary reservations at Afternoon Tea and access to the Library Bar.
