Join us for an unforgettable experience combining craft and cuisine in the heart of the Rio Grande Valley. We’re teaming up with Maurizio Leo of The Perfect Loaf for an immersive, hands-on retreat designed to educate and inspire home bakers and sourdough obsessives, alike.

The three-night retreat centers around six hours of hands-on workshop time with Maurizio in the Los Poblanos professional pastry kitchen. It also includes daily breakfasts at Campo and group dining, behind-the-scenes tours and activities with the Los Poblanos culinary and farm teams. The itinerary allows for plenty of time to explore, relax and soak in the springtime atmosphere of Los Poblanos.

$1,800 + tax per person for retreat package (excluding accommodations)  
Accommodations in a classic room start at $300/night + Taxes and fees. Room reservations required.

  • 1.5 hour behind-the-scenes Los Poblanos farm and kitchen tour

Itinerary

Arrival Day, Sunday, March 8
4 PM – Participants arrive
5:30 PM – Private group dinner hosted in Campo Cellar Room, welcome remarks made by Maurizio and Chef Chris, NM wine talk and tasting during dinner 

Retreat Day 1, Monday, March 9
Breakfast at Campo
12 PM – Group lunch hosted at La Quinta 
1 - 2 PM – Seminar with Chris and Maurizio at La Quinta 
3 - 6 PM – Workshop in the bakery 

Retreat Day 2, Tuesday, March 10
Breakfast at Campo
11 AM – Property tour of the greenhouse, kitchen, farm and beehouse, participants will harvest items for their workshop
12:30 PM – Picnic lunch hosted out on the farm (weather permitting)
3 - 6 PM – Workshop in the bakery
6:30 PM – Cocktail reception begins at La Quinta  
7 - 8:30 PM – Dinner at La Quinta
