Two MICHELIN Keys, two years running

Los Poblanos lavender fields and resort in Albuquerque, New Mexico

We are delighted to share that Los Poblanos has been awarded a Two Key distinction by the MICHELIN Guide for the second consecutive year. We are honored to receive this extraordinary recognition and remain the only Two Key hotel resort in New Mexico.

MICHELIN Keys are the hospitality equivalent of the celebrated MICHELIN Stars for restaurants, highlighting hotels that go far beyond offering a place to stay. They recognize properties that embody a deep sense of place and create restorative travel experiences. At Los Poblanos, this honor reflects our commitment to weaving together historic architecture, organic farming, and the natural beauty of the Rio Grande Valley into an unforgettable stay.

A visit to Los Poblanos feels both timeless and timely, part of a growing movement toward experiential farm stays, agritourism and eco-luxury travel that nurtures a deep sense of well-being and connection. Guests are invited to wander through lavender fields, experience the rhythms of our working organic farm and enjoy farm-to-table dining at Campo, where seasonal ingredients from our fields are celebrated in every dish. With plenty of unscheduled time and freedom to relax, the harmony between the land and hospitality offers a space of renewal.

In selecting properties for this recognition, the MICHELIN Guide considers qualities that lie at the heart of our mission. The architecture and design of Los Poblanos reflect New Mexico’s cultural heritage, from the historic buildings designed by John Gaw Meem to the more contemporary Farm and Field Suites that pair rustic charm with modern comfort. Our gardens, fields, and historic structures offer an inspiring setting for wellness and restorative relaxation, where the pace of life naturally slows. The guest experience is further defined by a genuine sense of place, one that extends from lavender products crafted on-site to seasonal cocktails made with our own gin, ensuring that each stay is deeply tied to the Rio Grande Valley. Underpinning all of this is authentic hospitality, where every member of our team is committed to creating meaningful, personal experiences that linger long after departure.
