Autumn Afternoons

Experience the beauty of the North Valley and glorious fall weather on the farm this autumn. Check out our new Rio Grande Valley Rescue Squad, serving artisan drinks that incorporate fresh botanicals from the farm. You'll find your favorite Campo artisan cocktails, plus beer, wine and juices. Pop into the Farm Shop and craft a picnic lunch from the Farm Foods collection of freshly baked breads, artisan cheeses and affettati misti or sandwiches and salads prepared in the Campo kitchen. Then, grab a shady table, enjoy live music from local musicians, who play from 12-2 pm, and soak up the beauty of the farm. Additionally, the last three weekends in October will feature special programming - scroll down for details.

From 12 - 4 pm, kick start your holiday shopping and meet local artisans Kimmy Rohrs of Whiskey & Clay and Samantha Platero of Dineh Jewelry. Kimmy's beautiful marbled ceramics can be found in the Hacienda Spa and Farm Shop, and Samantha's gorgeous, modern Native American jewelry is a stunning addition to the Farm Shop's jewelry case. Plus, experience a live lavender distillation and learn more about our organic farming and artisan product line.

Come fall, our dedicated farmers begin propagating lavender by taking cuttings from the plants in our fields. The cuttings will be carefully tended in the greenhouse all winter, and eventually join our many majestic rows of lavender. From 12 - 4 pm, members of our farm team will share more about the process of growing and propagating lavender for use in our lavender product collection.

October 30

In preparation for decorating our traditional ofrenda for Dia de los Muertos, join us in decorating sugar skulls from 12 - 2 pm or while supplies last.
