This past year changed how and where we all traveled, and the open space and fresh air of our farm became more valued than ever. Announcing Tea Season at La Quinta

As the historic Los Poblanos gardens burst into bloom, we are thrilled to announce tea season at La Quinta this May. The season will begin with Mother's Day Tea, followed by Afternoon Tea served each Wednesday and Sunday afternoon from May 12 through October 10. As our previous guests can attest, there's something transportive about spending an afternoon at La Quinta, and we can't wait to welcome you back for tea.

Los Poblanos Holiday Shop at Sabah San Francisco

While most holiday shopping will be done online this year, there are still safe ways to shop this season. Our friends at Sabah in San Francisco are hosting a Los Poblanos holiday pop-up through the end of the year, which promises to be safely distanced, with doors flung open for ample fresh air, and full of holiday cheer. With Sabah's beautiful handcrafted shoes and our artisan lavender and Farm Foods collections, it's a wonderful opportunity to peruse lovely gifts that were made by hand. Our Autumn Harvest Retreat

With countless crops flourishing at this time of year, join us October 11 - 14 for the Autumn Harvest Retreat and immerse yourself in the abundance of fall on the Los Poblanos farm. You'll savor fruit, vegetables and herbs bursting with flavor, enjoy time with our talented farmers, explore the Southwest through regional wines and experience our award-winning Rio Grande Valley Cuisine with ingredients harvested from our own fields. The field-to-fork retreat sessions lead up to an elaborate matanza feast, thoughtfully and carefully prepared over several days by our dedicated culinary team. 

Winter Wellness Retreat

The Winter Wellness Retreat is quickly approaching!

We're looking forward to welcoming you to the farm soon for this restorative and serene retreat. Read on for a weekend itinerary, and note that some time will be spent out of doors. January in New Mexico can be chilly, so make sure to come prepared. Dinner on Friday and breakfast and lunch on Saturday are included in the retreat programming. If you have any dietary restrictions, please email Shaelyn by Monday, January 6, to ensure the culinary team has sufficient time to make appropriate substitutions. A Weekend with the Masters

Please join us for a very special design-focused weekend in partnership with one of the leading typography foundries in the world - House Industries. House has worked with some of the world’s leading designer estates – Charles & Ray Eames, Richard Neutra, Aero Saarinen and even Rat Fink! They have also collaborated with design-driven companies like Herman Miller, Rapha, Uniqlo, Baccarat and Heath Ceramics. Over the years, founder Andy Cruz has partnered with incredible design talent and we're thrilled to host a collaborative weekend this November 22-24, bringing together renowned photographer Carlos Alejandro and award-winning artist, designer and print-maker David Dodde. Don’t miss the Screen Printing Master Workshop, photography classes, a book signing and A Design Evening with the Masters featuring new work by Alejandro and Dodde featuring the faces of Los Poblanos, a House design talk and live music from local band the Dukes.

Los Poblanos is proud to present a dining series like no other. Executive Chef Jonathan Perno, resident Sommelier Dylan Storment and the award-winning culinary team at Los Poblanos have carefully curated an entire year of Rio Grande Valley Cuisine dinner programming to highlight the spirit and artistry of the season. This series will also pay homage to our local ranchers, farmers, vintners, brewers and distillers who share in our culinary philosophy and understand that flavors and ingredients are as important as the environment and terroir they originate from
